Dr. Kashif Pirzada, MD, CCFP(EM)

Dr. Kashif PirzadaDr. Kashif Pirzada is a Toronto-based emergency physician with a strong focus on public health, advocacy, and medical education. As a medical advisor for Order CS, he applies his expertise in emergency medicine and health policy to improve patient care. With academic ties to McMaster University and the University of Toronto, he frequently shares insights on emergency care and public health. A recognized medical expert and media commentator, he provides analysis on healthcare innovation and emergency medicine. He co-founded Conquer-COVID-19 and Masks4Canada to improve access to protective equipment and raise public health awareness.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Pirzada has served on key regulatory and advisory panels, including the University of Toronto Governing Council, the Ontario Consent and Capacity Board, and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario’s Inquiries, Complaints, and Reports Committee. Passionate about health communication and digital innovation, he also founded Raven, a news and social media startup, aimed at improving public discourse and reliable health information access.

Dr. Claire Fine, MD

Claire Fine, MDDr. Claire Fine is a resident physician in family medicine with a background in engineering, research, and data science. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from McMaster University after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering. Her unique blend of medical expertise and analytical skills allows her to approach patient care with a strong problem-solving mindset and a deep understanding of biomedical systems.

Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Fine gained experience as a research assistant in biomedical engineering, a data science intern, and a hydro optimization engineer. She has also volunteered at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, working with children in complex and continuing care. Her diverse background strengthens her ability to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care, while her deep focus on innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration continues to shape her medical journey.

Dr. Cyndi Gilbert, ND

Cyndi GilbertDr. Cyndi Gilbert is a naturopathic doctor and healthcare advisor dedicated to inclusive, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive care. With over 15 years of experience, she has worked as an educator, speaker, and policy consultant, shaping medical education and healthcare accessibility for marginalized communities. As a former faculty member at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, she developed curricula on health equity, LGBTQ+ healthcare, and anti-racism in medicine. She also co-founded Heal All Consulting, an initiative supporting healthcare providers in creating welcoming and affirming spaces for LGBTQ2SIA+ patients.

Dr. Gilbert’s commitment to social change and digital health innovation remains strong, even as she navigates life after a serious spinal cord injury. Her experience has deepened her advocacy for accessible healthcare, policy reform, and patient-centered care. A passionate voice for equity in medicine, she continues to drive conversations around healthcare inclusivity, digital solutions, and community-driven wellness.

Michael Haichin, PharmD, BCMAS

Michael Haichin, PharmD, BCMASDr. Michael Haichin is a Doctor of Pharmacy and Board-Certified Medical Affairs Specialist, bringing expertise in medical affairs, consulting, and medical writing to his role as a member of our team. With a PharmD from the University of Toronto and a BSc from McGill University, he has a strong foundation in clinical pharmacy, research, and healthcare communications. His work focuses on translating complex medical information into practical, evidence-based solutions, ensuring that patients and healthcare professionals have access to clear and reliable guidance.

Dr. Haichin holds certifications in cannabis and cannabinoid pharmacotherapy, immunization, and first aid, reflecting his dedication to comprehensive patient care. His background in medical affairs and consulting allows him to bridge the gap between scientific research and real-world healthcare applications. He uses his expertise in clinical pharmacy and medical communications to contribute to effective healthcare solutions and improved patient care.

Diana Leon Tong, PharmD

Diana Leon TongDr. Diana Leon Tong is a pharmacist and Certified Diabetes Educator with a keen interest in patient-centered care and community health. With over six years of experience in retail and clinical pharmacy, she has developed expertise in medication therapy management, patient counseling, and chronic disease education. She has worked in leading pharmacy settings, including Shoppers Drug Mart and Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres (CATC), where she provides personalized medication support and health guidance.

Holding a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences from McMaster University, Dr. Leon Tong blends scientific knowledge with compassionate patient care. She is certified in opioid use disorder treatment, first aid, and injection drug administration, ensuring comprehensive pharmacy services. Highly engaged in diabetes management and health advocacy, she is focused on empowering patients with the knowledge and support they need for better health outcomes.

Dr. Xue Man, MD, MPH

Xue ManDr. Xue Man is a physician and epidemiologist with a special love for global health research and public health innovation. She holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto and has extensive experience in neurology, public health, and data-driven research. With a strong foundation in clinical medicine and global health, she has contributed to projects examining opioid-related mortality, smoking cessation programs, and neurological disorders.

Previously, Dr. Man completed a neurology residency at Beijing Tiantan Hospital, where she specialized in headache disorders, stroke, and movement disorders while providing expert care in ICU, emergency, and outpatient settings. She has also held research roles at the Centre for Global Health Research and CAMH, focusing on public health challenges through advanced epidemiological methods. Her background includes international training at Oxford University and Baycrest Health Sciences, reinforcing her expertise in aging, brain health, and acute care medicine. Dr. Man’s diverse experience bridges clinical practice and population health, driving her mission to improve healthcare outcomes worldwide.
